When did you first start thinking about surrogacy?

I have always felt a pull towards surrogacy, even before my first child was born. Now after my family is complete I feel like this is something I was meant to do. Being able to help a family make their dreams come true really has been my drive, and this is a way I know that I can help.

Was there someone in your life who inspired you thinking about starting the process?

I have a friend that was a surrogate and I watched her as she grew this new life. I was in awe of her and the commitment to fulfilling the dreams of new parents. Not to mention the joy you could see beaming from their smiles holding their baby for the first time. After I watched her journey it made me more motivated to move forward with mine.

What are you most excited about with a potential surrogacy journey?

I truly am most excited about seeing the parent(s) with their baby. I know for me there really is nothing that compares to the birth of your child and holding them for the first time. Just them being able to be together after so long makes my heart happy.

What are you most unsure/anxious about with a potential surrogacy journey?

I know we all hope for the best, but I do get anxious thinking about everything that could go wrong. I hope the transfer takes, and pregnancy/delivery will go smoothly. I also think the medication and shots can be intimidating, but I am confident we will make it through!

Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.

I come from a big family, and live in a small town where all of us still live within 10 minutes of eachother. I have 6 sisters and 1 brother and I am the second oldest. I married my highschool sweetheart and we have been together 12 years, married for 9. We have 4 kids, 2 girls and 2 boys that are pretty awesome. We enjoy the outdoors, and hanging out as a family. I love animals, gardening, yardwork, and all the dad jokes. I think of myself as a funny, talkative person and laugh probably way more than normal people. But I really do love life, and people around me.

Anything else that you'd like to share?

I am really looking forward to this journey. I have been very open with my family about my journey and have a huge support system beside me. Which honestly makes a huge difference.
